For Equitymaster Forum (Forum) members, the following terms and conditions will apply in addition to the general Terms of Use:
- You agree that the Forum is not a platform to solicit, discuss or seek any ideas, views, opinions or advice on investment, finance or securities including stocks and derivatives. The Forum is for educational and information purposes only.
- You agree to use the Forum only to post and receive messages and material that are proper and related to the Forum. You agree not to upload, post, or otherwise transmit any matter or views that is/are, defamatory, abusive, obscene, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, political or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable or contains (or contains links to) foul and/or abusive language, pornography, unauthorized use or distribution of copyrighted material(s), hatred and racism of any kind, or any other material that may be deemed by Equitymaster as libelous or offensive to another individual or organization;
- Equitymaster reserves the right to remove any such content from the Forum at any time and at its sole discretion, without any notice whatsoever.
- You shall not conduct or forward surveys, contests, or chain letters or post any commercial content.
- All information, data, text, messages or other materials, whether publicly or privately transmitted/posted on or through the Forum, is the sole responsibility of the person from where such content is originated.
- Equitymaster does not guarantee the accuracy, integrity or quality of any content posted on the Forum. Under no circumstances will Equitymaster be liable in any way for any content, including, but not limited to, for any errors or omissions in any content, or for any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of any content posted, uploaded on this Forum.
- You may not send, submit, post, or otherwise transmit, messages or material that contain software virus, that are designed to interrupt, destroy, and negatively affect in any manner whatsoever, any electronic equipment / software / coding in connection with the use of this portal.
- In the event that you breach any of the above mentioned covenants, and Equitymaster becomes aware of such violation, it shall have the right to delete any material relating to the violations without prior notice.
- Equitymaster may place reasonable restrictions on the maximum number of days that messages will be retained, the maximum size of any message that may be sent from or received by a subscriber.
- Equitymaster assumes no responsibility or liability for the deletion or failure to store, inaccuracy in transmission and receipt of any messages and other communication or other information maintained or transmitted.
- Equitymaster reserves the full right to edit or remove any post or prohibit any subscriber from posting any messages on the Forum at any time. The determination of what is construed as indecent, vulgar, spam, improper, irrelevant, etc. as noted in these points is up to Equitymaster. Intimation of deletion may not be communicated every time.
- By submitting messages to Equitymaster Forum you are granting us a worldwide perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to reproduce, modify, translate, make available, distribute and sub-license the message in whole or in part and in any form. This may include personal information such as your user name and alias and your expressions of opinion.
- Any views/opinions/replies of the Author are his personal and not of Equitymaster.
- Any reply by the Author or Equitymaster posted on the Forum does not constitute a personal recommendation nor takes into account the particular investment objectives, financial situations, or needs of individual investors.
- By submitting Messages to Equitymaster Forum you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Equitymaster from all claims, costs and expenses (including legal expenses) arising out of any Messages posted or published by you that are in breach of these rules.
